Photography & Illustration
La Lune Design by Isabelle Osborne aims to be a hybrid between Photography & Illustration Design in an aesthetic that is honest and raw. The name 'La Lune' is influenced by the synergies of two forces, of the Japanese Zen-Buddhist philosophy of Wabi Sabi - the beauty in growth and decay, of things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete - and the elemental forces of the moon.
Osborne is a Fremantle based cross-disciplinary artist & photographer. As a recent graduate of Curtin University with Honours in Photography, her current work largely surrounds questioning hegemonic discourse and ‘norms’ through the mode of analogue photography. Her photography lends a sensitive and feminine voice to the subjects she photographs, working with visual metaphors towards people and place.
